In 1921, Guccio Gucci opened a small leather goods store in his native Florence. After his death in 1953, his four sons, Aldo, Vasco, Ugo and Rodolfo, took control of the business. During the 1960's Gucci introduced products that were cherished by the most iconic figures of the time.
